I love Seesmic desktop. It is the answer to all my twitter needs.

But its update today, absolutely blew my mind! Its taking care of several of the things on my social media wish list!

Here they are!

Easy posting to multiple accounts

Just check the account you’d like to post to and post to all in one go!

Get stats on URLs you post that are tweeted!

Yesterday I was trying to think of a way to get stats on URLs my followers click on to give me an indication of what kind of content is popular and therefore what I should keep tweeting about. I found bit.ly’s website but realized Seesmic wasn’t integrated. Well now it is. So you can get bit.ly stats on all the URL’s you post via Seesmic. The setup is soo easy. Check out the screenshot to see how.

Seesmic lets you post directly to Posterous, TwitPic, Twitgoo & yfrog (which is currently using your twitter account login). Set up is again at the same place where you set up Bit.ly. See screenshot above.

Commenting on your Facebook friend statuses from within Seesmic

Have you had times when you went to Facebook to do something and 2 minutes into it you realized you had forgotten and got distracted by something else like photos and status updates? This is what I call the quintessential Facebook inspired brain fart! Well now you don’t have to browse to Facebook to check status messages. All my status replies and checking is all within Seesmic. This means no Facebook brain farts

Also if you are like me tweeting at an event usually means simultaneously trying to listen to the speaker and trying to participate in the debate Facebook friends are having about your tweets. Gawd, its tiring! Well Seesmic just made that much easier, since you can follow responses to tweets and tweet within the same place at the same time! The only other things I can ask for now…

Seesmic has been so good to me. The only other things I can ask for are the ability to:

• see Bit.ly stats within Seesmic so that I can see which tweet URL’s are liked faster
• schedule tweets for later to allow me to send relevant tweets to those in different time zones is a seamless automatic fashion
• export twitter groups and search to the cloud so each computer change or crash doesn’t affect my twitter life
• search for Tweeters by typing @possible screename from the search option at top of screen

I already love you Seesmic. If you give me this I will adore you!
